Josh was raised in Union, SC where some of his earliest memories include being on a baseball field. He graduated Union County High School in 2012 and had an opportunity to play collegiate baseball on an academic and athletic scholarship at Wofford College, a division 1 program in the Southern Conference. In 2016, he officially “hung his cleats” while graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, ultimately pursuing a career in business & sales in Greenville, SC. He currently holds the title Director of Client Development for a learning and training consulting company based out of Atlanta, GA. He was also elected Mayor of Reidville, SC in 2024. He has been fortunate to gain access and time around some of the best minds in the world when it comes to topics around faith, business, leadership, and personal development. He understands with Jesus at the center and a heart to give back unconditionally, founding Kid on the Left will help create lasting and eternal impact on a community level and beyond. Josh married his high school sweetheart, Kelsey, in the summer of 2018. They have 2 kids, Kai and Korie, who both share birthdays in October. They enjoy spending family time together including activities such as traveling, sporting events, making s’mores, and going to Church at the Mill, where they are members.
John has spent much of his life in Union, SC. He attended Union High School and graduated from nearby Presbyterian College in 2005 with a degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting. He has also graduated from the South Carolina Bankers School and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. He is currently a C-Suite leader at Arthur State Bank in Union. While assisting clients in the pursuit of their financial dreams is an amazing part of his role there, his favorite thing about his job is having the opportunity to invest in high school students through the bank’s Junior Board of Directors Program sharing the leadership and financial expertise he has accumulated over the years. John and his wife Brittnee were married in the Spring of 2012. They have 3 kids, Thomas, Aubree, and Wyatt. When not at work, John can usually be found getting an early morning workout in, or shuttling kids to baseball, cheer, or dance practice in the evenings. John is also involved in his church as a Sunday School teacher and treasurer. He currently serves on the Union County Development Board, Union County Chamber of Commerce, and various other organizations.
Rob spent his childhood in Union, SC before graduating Union County High School in 2012. Having been called to ministry at an early age, he attended North Greenville University to study ministry, ultimately graduating in 2015 and completing a Masters in Christian Studies afterwards from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Shortly after, he served multiple churches before he became Student Pastor at Lifesong Church in 2018. He is still on staff there as Pastor of NextGen. He is passionate about building relationships with the next generation and seeing them make a kingdom impact now and in the future. He is a true visionary with an established network that will be integral as Kid on the Left expands. In addition to being married to Morgan, his high school sweetheart, they are parents to a daughter, Davis, and a son in Heaven, Dreher. When he has time away, Rob enjoys watching and attending sporting events, music, and spending time with his family.

Dean grew up in Union, SC as the oldest of three siblings. At an early age, he was positive he wanted to follow in the footsteps of many in his family by practicing law. He graduated Union County High School in 2012 before double majoring in economics and finance at Wofford College. After Wofford, he studied at University of South Carolina Law School, earning his juris doctorate in 2019. He is currently a civil litigator at the Mike Kelly Law Group out of Columbia, SC. Dean’s background in athletics and law brings unique perspective to the board. He is in alignment with the mission at Kid on the Left and has genuine aspirations to leave communities better than years prior. He married his wife, Appollonia, in the summer of 2023 and they have one dog son together, Ray. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling around the world.
Kevin Means
Board Advisor
Kevin Means is a Brooklyn, NY native but now resides in Greenville, SC. He is a former athlete who uses his competitive nature to drive towards excellence in all avenues of life. He is a proud graduate of Morris College in Sumter, SC, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. During his time at Morris College, he co-founded a mentorship organization, Men of Morris, was elected Senior Class President, as well as a leader in numerous honor societies. Shortly after graduation, Kevin pursued a career in finance sales before transitioning into a business development role for the largest IT distributor in the world. He now owns a successful Watch and Accessory Company (Five 1 Five Watches) in addition to being the Business Development Manager for the largest provider of laundry and air vending solutions in the US. In his free time, Kevin likes to exercise, play chess, read personal development books, and spend time with family. He is excited to use everything he has learned throughout the years to add value to the Kid on The Left Family, where he can continue to pour into communities that have given so much to him.
